Last Chaos Guide for New Players and Need To Knows (Sorry It's Short) Bunch of Info Though!

Guilds-
Being in a guild might seem cool and awesome. Well that is a both yes and no. Being in a guild might effect your journeys in this wonderful world. There are guild wars and things to attend to when in a guild. Although you always know that there are players ready to help you if you are in a pinch and need help.

To join a guild, you need to access the party menu (alt + G) and you got the second menu in the right corner of the board that says "Guild". Here you can choose to: apply, leave or manage a guild.

Apply to a guild:
To apply to a guild just target the Guild Manager or Advisor and simply push "Apply Guild" button.

Leave a guild:
To be able to leave a guild, you firstly need to be an existing member of one. So if you are in a guild and want to quit, just push the "Leave Guild" button. You will not be able to join a new guild for 7 days. So best is that the Guild Manager/Adviser kick you.

Manage a guild:
Now, to be able to manage a guild you either need to be a 'Guild Manager' or 'Guild Advisor'. Normal members of a guild can't do anything in here. To be able to create your own guild, you need to visit the NPC 'Royal Guard Captain'. You can find him at the north entrance to the city. You need to be at least lvl 10 and have 10 Skill Points, and pay 10,000 gold.

Upgrading Items- (Was Hard to Compile)
First off, upgrading an item is very simple. The only thing you need, is a 'Smelting Stone'(Refining Stone), 'Heaven Stone' or 'Bloodseal Gem'. Although, 'Smelting Stone'(Refining Stone) and 'Heaven Stone' are different from each other (While Bloodseal Gem is something completely different):

1. Smelting stones are aquired through smelting a weapon or armor from your inventory at the 'Alchemist' (His name can be 'Transmuter' for some).

Something that can be worth knowing, is that weapons give two Smelting stones and armor give one. Anyways, 'Heaven stone' on the other hand. Is aquired through drops mostly, although it is a rare drop.

2. These two upgrading stones have different precentage of suceeding in the upgrade. Which is as follows:

Smelting stone: 30%

Heaven stone: 50%

This increased precentage in the 'Heave stone', might seem useless to some. But it is infact quite huge, 'Heaven stone' is somewhat a safe bet (if you compare 'Heaven stone' with 'Smelting stone').

When you smelt a weapon or armor at level, say 7. Then the 'Smelting Stone' will be level 7, which means that you cannot upgrade an armor with higher level than 7. So if you want to upgrade an item over level 7, then you need to find a higher level weapon or armor to smelt and upgrade with (Of course, you can find a 'Heaven Stone' for this too. Since Heaven Stones don't apply to any levels).

Upgrade effects

You might have seen these pumped up characters, with those nice armors and glowing weapons. Maybe you cannot obtain that nice armor at your current level, but what you can obtain is the glowing weapon. You see, glow only appears after you have upgraded your weapon to a certain level.

Weapon

+4: Gives your weapon a glow.

+6: additional +6 atk power for for physical type of attack such as sword, axe as well as xbow and bow. Also gives a special color glow to your weapon.

Titan: Red

Knight: Blue

Mage: Purple

Rogue: Orange

Healer: Yellow

: additional +4 magic atk power for magic type of atk such as mage weapon and healer scepter.

+8: gives 3% to attack rate for melee type of weapons.

: gives additional 2m in attack range for range weapon including staff and so on.

+10: probability of critical atk will increase.

+12: probability of deadly atk will increase.

+15: weapon gives additional +75 atk power as well as +50 magic atk power.

Armor

It is different with armors though. You need to have upgraded ALL (Except the Shield) of the armor pieces before it obtains any special effects.

+6: +500 to weight allowance

+8: additional +10 def

+10: additional +5 magic def

+12: avoidability rate increase

+15: additional +100 def and +50 magic def

*take note that shield will not gives all the above effect except normal upgrade def.

For glowing effect, you will get normal white glow when reach +4. For every +2 afterward you will get different type of glow such as lighting effect on your weapon and so on.

For armor, it act same as weapon where every +2 after normal fairy +4, you will get different type of glowing fairy too.

In order for the special effects to show for you on others, you need to turn the "Special Effects" OFF, becouse developers seem to have mixed up on and off. So on is actually off and off is actually on!

Blooseal Gem

Bloodseal Gem can be bought at 'Merchant Geres' in town. Bloodseal Gems add a "magical upgrade" to your weapons and armor. It can upgrade your magical attack etc.

And if you are not satisfied with the what the Bloodseal Gem has done, you can always erase it with a 'Gem of Purification'. Although, be careful with the Purification Gem. It removes ALL the bloodseal upgrades on the item!

Weapon: Can be upgraded 5 times with Bloodseal Gem

Armor: Can be upgraded 3 times with Bloodseal Gem

The purpose of bloodsealing your equipment is to add extra attribute to your equipment. It might range from extra damage, defence to extra stat. Most people aim for +stat to enhance their stat. The stat occuring like +2 str, +4 dex, etc are quite rare so you might need to bloodseal it a few times. Here how the stat will appear

Headgear = +Int

Armor and lower armor = +Con

Gloves = +Str

Boots/Shoes = +Dex

Value can range from +2 till +8 (No sure of the max + you can get, but that's the most i heard, and me myself got the best +8 int too).

Reminder:

Erasing the attribute is possible with a purification stone, sold by the same merchant (Merchant Geres). It will erase everything. But there is some extra note that you might need to know.

1) You can only use your purification stone once your attributes are maxed, 5 extra attribute for weapon and 3 extra attribute for your armors. So unless you already bloodsealing your weapon for 5 times, you won't be able to use the purification stone on it.

2) Once erased, the equipment will turn back like before you bloodsealed it, so you got to go out to level again until you got the bloodseal availability again on your equipment.
